CBI Takes Action in NEET-UG Paper Leak Case, First Arrest Made in Bihar

NEET-UG Paper Leak Case : The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) made its first arrest on Thursday in the NEET-UG paper leak case. Two individuals, Manish Prakash and Ashutosh, were arrested in Patna, the capital of Bihar. According to CBI sources, Manish was responsible for transporting students in his vehicle, while Ashutosh provided lodging for the candidates at his home.

Arrests Made Following Interrogation

The central investigative agency has presented both accused in court. So far, the CBI has registered six FIRs in this case. Manish Prakash was initially summoned for questioning, during which he was subsequently arrested. The CBI officially informed Manish Prakash’s wife about his arrest via a phone call.

Additionally, the NEET paper leak case in Latur has also been handed over to the CBI. Similar paper leak incidents were reported there. Following the revelation, the Latur police had already arrested two individuals during their investigation. However, two of the accused named in the FIR are reported to be absconding and are currently being sought. The Latur police have recorded statements from six other individuals related to the case.
