Controversial Statement by BJP Leader Shubhendu Adhikari, said- End ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’
In a startling statement in West Bengal, BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari has advocated for ending the slogan “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Together with All, Development for All). During a recent event, he even chanted “Jai Shri Ram” and emphasized closing down platforms for minority interests. Adhikari asserted, “We don’t need to talk about everyone’s development. We will ensure that those with us receive our support. We will win and save Hindus.” Notably, Adhikari’s stance against “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” echoes Prime Minister Modi’s initial slogan.
Discussing BJP’s loss in by-elections, Adhikari claimed thousands couldn’t vote, alleging millions of Hindus were also denied voting rights in general elections. His speech appears to signal BJP’s focus on consolidating Hindu votes in West Bengal. The state BJP believes Muslim voters united behind TMC in the national elections, while Hindu votes scattered across various parties.
In response, Adhikari launched a portal and wrote on social media platform X, “As promised, I’ve launched a portal where disenfranchised voters can register complaints. Their privacy will be fully protected.”
