Lok Sabha Election 2024 : Central Minister and former Army Chief VK Singh has announced that he will not contest the Lok Sabha elections. He said that it was not easy for him to make this decision. Singh said that he wants to channel his energy and time into new directions, where he will serve the country in different ways.

Central Minister VK Singh posted on his official handle on Sunday (March 24), ”I have dedicated my entire life in the service of this nation as a soldier. For the past 10 years, I have worked tirelessly to fulfill the dream of making Ghaziabad a world-class city. I am grateful for the trust and love that I have received from the citizens of the country and Ghaziabad as well as the members of the BJP during this journey. This emotional bond is invaluable to me.”
He further wrote in the post, ”With these emotions, I have made a difficult but thoughtful decision. I will not contest in the 2024 elections. This decision was not easy for me, but I have taken it from the depths of my heart. I want to take my energy and time into new directions, where I can serve my country in different ways.” He wrote, ”I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for being with me on this journey. Your love, support, and trust have always inspired me. I will continue to serve the country and all its citizens in the future, just in a new form.”
