Varanasi : Groot Guardian Conducts Tree Plantation with DIG Police

Varanasi: Groot Guardian NGO, known for its significant contributions to environmental conservation, has achieved another milestone today. As part of their goal to plant 10,000 saplings in Varanasi, the NGO successfully planted 500 more saplings at Police Lines Varanasi, reaching the halfway mark of 5,000 saplings.

The tree plantation drive was inaugurated by DIG Law and Order, Mr. S. Chinappa, who praised the initiative and the efforts of Groot Guardian. He also awarded the Groot Guardian team with certificates of appreciation, stating, “Groot Guardian’s efforts are truly inspirational for environmental conservation.”

The plantation event at Police Lines was carried out with the support of Inspector Umesh Dubey and included participation from school students to business professionals. For the past 45 days, Groot Guardian has been continuously planting trees at various locations across the city, an effort that was highly appreciated by the DIG.
