NEET-UG 2024 Exam Will Not Be Canceled, Says Education Minister – I Take Responsibility…

NEET-UG 2024 Exam : Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan addressed a press conference on Thursday regarding the alleged paper leak in the NEET UG 2024 exam. During the conference, he stated that the NEET exam will not be canceled. He emphasized that the welfare of the students is the top priority and will not be compromised at any cost. A high-level committee will be formed to investigate the entire case, and strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty. No offender will be spared.

Some Specific Errors Occurred

The Union Education Minister stated that there will be no compromise on the transparency of the examination. According to preliminary information, some specific errors have occurred. He assured that once concrete information is obtained, the culprits will be punished severely. Whether it is the National Testing Agency (NTA) or any senior person within it, if found guilty, action will be taken against them. The priority in this matter will be given to the students.

Pradhan further mentioned that information has been requested from the Bihar government. They are in constant contact with the Bihar government and have received some information from Patna. Today, some reports have also come in. The Patna police are thoroughly investigating the incident. A detailed report on the matter will be obtained soon, and action will be taken against anyone found guilty. The investigation will be thorough to prevent such issues in the future.

“I Take Responsibility”

Dharmendra Pradhan stated that he takes responsibility for the irregularities that have come to light. The entire matter is under the supervision of the Supreme Court. He acknowledged that students are the future of the country and their future needs to be protected. He admitted that the paper leak is an institutional failure and takes moral responsibility for it. He described the incident as unfortunate and acknowledged the challenging times. Having met many students personally, he understands their anger and assures that appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with the law.
