PM Modi Announces Compensation for Families of Deceased in Hathras Stampede, Home Minister Amit Shah Expresses Grief

Hathras Stampede : In Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, a stampede at a Bhole Baba satsang held in the village of Fulari in the Sikandra Rao GT Road police station area on Tuesday has reportedly resulted in the death of over 100 people.

Prime Minister Modi expressed his condolences and announced financial assistance for the victims and their families. He declared that the families of those who lost their lives in the Hathras incident would receive ₹2 lakh each from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, and the injured would receive ₹50,000 each.

Additionally, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the incident, expressing his condolences to the bereaved families. He has directed that ₹2 lakh each be given to the families of the deceased and ₹50,000 each to the injured as financial assistance.

Home Minister Amit Shah Expresses Grief Over the Incident

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also expressed deep sorrow over the Hathras incident. He conveyed his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, wishing them the strength to endure this suffering. He also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. The Home Minister stated that the local administration is engaged in relief efforts.
