PM Modi Called Rohit Sharma: After India’s historic win in the T20 World Cup, the entire nation is celebrating. The Indian team is being discussed everywhere, and there is a wave of happiness among the people. Everyone is appreciating the Indian team’s magnificent performance and congratulating them on their victory. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Team India and praised their performance while talking to the players over the phone. He specifically praised Rohit Sharma’s captaincy and performance.

Regarding Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “You are a wealth of excellence. Your aggressive mindset, batting, and captaincy have given the Indian team a new dimension. Your T20 career will always be remembered. It was a pleasure talking to you today.”

About Virat Kohli, the Prime Minister said, “It was a pleasure talking to you. Like in the final innings, you have brilliantly led Indian batting forward. You have shone in all formats of the game. Additionally, PM Modi praised Hardik Pandya’s powerful bowling in the final overs and Suryakumar Yadav’s brilliant catch. He also lauded Jasprit Bumrah for his devastating bowling throughout the tournament.

PM Modi seemed very pleased with former cricketing legend Rahul Dravid’s coaching, who was the head coach of Team India until the T20 World Cup 2024. He thanked Dravid for his invaluable contribution to Indian cricket.
