NEET UG Results 2024: Supreme Court Hearing on NTA’s Transfer Petition, Notice Issued

NEET UG Results 2024 : The controversy surrounding the NEET UG 2024 examination and its results continues. Today, the Supreme Court heard the National Testing Agency (NTA)’s transfer petition, during which it was clarified that there will be no stay on NEET counseling.

The Supreme Court stated that if the examination goes ahead, the counseling will also proceed accordingly. The court has also issued notices to the NTA and the central government regarding other petitions against NEET. These petitions call for transferring all related cases from the High Court to the Supreme Court, canceling the NEET exam, and investigating through an SIT or CBI. The next hearing on these matters is scheduled for July 8.

What Are the Demands?

Another petition filed in the Supreme Court calls for an investigation into the academic backgrounds of 67 top scorers. The court remarked that if the order is in favor of the petitioners, the counseling will automatically be canceled.
